Melhoria de processos a partir da aplicação do BPM: estudo de caso em uma empresa varejista

Abstract

This research is a case study that aimed to rationalize the processes of a retail company of products for electric motors in the city of Teresina-PI, using four stages of the Business Process Management (BPM) cycle, in order to establish improvement proposals, given the interest of companies in investing in their strategically important processes to sustain their competitive advantage. The process identified as critical was Reverse Logistics due to its strategic importance, and then As-Is and To-Be modeling was performed. The use of BPM allowed the rationalization of processes through time and labor savings, in addition to promoting methods of control and automation of activities, making them more efficient.
