Capacitação em Educação 4.0 na Polícia Militar de Santa Catarina: novas perspectivas para a formação policial

Abstract

Studies on instructor training seek excellence in the teaching and learning process. In this sense, the Academia da Polícia Militar da Trindade aimed to learn from the perspective of the principles of Model 4.0, offering in 2023 a training to qualify instructors of the Sergeant Formation Course (CFS). The theoretical framework of this study focused on the fundamental pillars related to Education 4.0. The methodology of this research is classified as a mixed-methods approach. Based on this theoretical and methodological framework, it was possible to build the profile of the participants and analyze data related to the principles of Education 4.0, namely: personalization, collaboration, problem-based learning, and lifelong learning. At the end of the training, it was found that the professional experience of the police officers involved makes a difference, both in the search for solutions to the challenges of the military profession and in the pedagogical practice of teaching classes.
