Abstract

The use of information technology, more specifically Generative Artificial Intelligence, in research in higher education institutions is justified due to the high volume of accessible data and information that would otherwise take a long time to be analyzed. The speed of access to information gives reason to offer tools that allow the capture of ideas that are likely to become reality. Therefore, the objective of this research is to propose an itinerary to survey trends aimed at academic research using iterations of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools, inspired by the Delphi Method. The research methodology is qualitative in nature, with a literature review of scientific articles and surveys with experts in the field of University Management to demonstrate the study of trends regarding the future of the university. The results perceived during the research indicate the possibility of analyzing trends regarding university management through Generative Artificial Intelligence tools. The initial conclusions of this purposeful study were presented at academic events with good acceptance from specialized critics.
