Análise bibliométrica e revisão sistemática dos estudos sobre crowding no varejo em tempos de pandemia COVID-19

Abstract

Objective: This article seeks to analyze scientific production, national and international, during the COVID-19 pandemic period between 2020 and 2023 on the perception of retail crowding. Methods: The research consisted of two methodological strategies, a bibliometric and a systematic review, in six databases: SCOPUS, Web of Science, Portal de Periódicos Capes, EBSCO, Spell and Scielo. Results: 30 articles were analyzed, the majority of which (15) were published in 2020. Two authors with the most written articles were also found (Edvan Cruz Aguiar and Marcelo Moll Brandão), the magazine with the most publications on the subject (Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services), as well as the most cited article(Consequences of Perceived Crowding: A Meta-Analytical Perspective. Next, the results found in the 30 articles, their limitations and suggestions for future research are presented. With this, Theoretical gaps are presented with the aim of serving as support for researchers to define their research questions in articles to be written about the perception of crowding in retail.
