Abstract

There are several ways to publish  the results of scientific research, but journals are probably the most important. Therefore, the analysis of a scientific journal is important. Analysis of scientific journals are not rare in literature, even in Brazil, and Mueller and Pecegueiro (2001) are an example of this type of work. These studies are important because they present scientific indicators in a determined area. Thus, our research has an objective to perform a bibliometric analysis of  the journal Navus to find significant characteristics of scientific production in management and technology. The journal was chosen because it publishes Brazilian papers and it is a young journal, with quarterly  issues and indexed in important bases. The main authors, the most relevant articles and the most frequently used keywords will be presented. Our paper presents suggestions to improve the journal´s evaluation in Qualis system.
