Solução de Business Intelligence para automação e melhoria na análise de dados de manutenção de uma máquina de envase em uma indústria na Amazônia

Abstract

Industrial maintenance management contributes to business sustainability by ensuring product reliability, safety, and quality, in addition to reducing costs and improving productivity. To this end, continuous monitoring of machine conditions stands out as an important practice, providing information for data-driven decision-making. This article aimed to implement a BI system using Microsoft Power BI to improve maintenance data analysis in a food industry in the Brazilian Amazon and support strategic decision-making. The research included diagnosing the previous analysis process, collecting and processing data, developing an analytical system with automatic updates, and training end users. As a result, a management dashboard was created with strategic analyses and technical maintenance indicators, designed to support decision-making. Data automation enabled a 99.9% reduction in the time spent on structuring reports, compared to the previous method, in addition to minimizing manual activities. The analyses provided by the BI analytical system allowed the development and implementation of a work plan aimed at improving the maintenance sector.
