Inovação Organizacional pela Adoção de Ambiente de Trabalho Flexível: Estudo de caso da P&G Brasil

Resumo

O ambiente de trabalho flexível pode ser entendido como uma inovação organizacional que permite a flexibilização tanto da jornada de trabalho quanto no espaço físico das empresas. Esse tipo de arranjo traz diversas consequências e impacta diretamente o modelo de negócio das empresas. O objetivo do presente artigo foi identificar que fatores levam uma empresa a adotar um ambiente flexível, além de identificar alguns resultados de sua implementação. Para atender a este objetivo, foi realizado um estudo de caso na empresa Procter & Gamble (P&G) do Brasil, empresa que adota esse modelo há cerca de 5 anos. Os resultados mostraram que o principal fator que levou a essa adoção foi a necessidade de adaptar a estrutura organizacional ao modelo de negócio da empresa. Os principais resultados alcançados foram melhor assertividade e rapidez na tomada de decisões e projetos, maior satisfação dos funcionários, maior atração e retenção de talentos e redução dos custos operacionais.
