Boas Práticas para a pesquisa científica

Neste editorial, procura= mos tratar o fenômeno da construção de artigos científicos e analisamos quais s= ão as boas práticas para que a produção e socialização do conhecimento possa s= er qualificada respeitando os princípios éticos de pesquisa. 

A publicação de artigos científicos em revistas bem avaliadas é um marco importante na carreira de qualquer pesquisador. Além de divulgar seus resultados para a comunidade científica, artigos bem escritos e estruturados contribuem para o avanço do conhecimento e para o debate de ideias inovadoras. No entanto, a produção d= e um artigo científico de qualidade exige rigor metodológico, clareza de escrita= e atenção aos detalhes. Para auxiliar os autores nessa jornada, a Revista Nav= us apresenta este editorial, que reúne boas práticas para a produção de artigos científi= cos.

 

BOAS PRÁTICAS PARA A PRODUÇ= ÃO DE ARTIGOS CIENTÍFICOS

 

Em uma sociedade em constante transformação, na qual a proliferação de informações está present= e em aparatos tecnológicos que cabem na palma da mão, e onde o advento da inteligência artificial nos faz acreditar que esta pode ‘pensar por nós’, u= rge a necessidade de verificarmos cada vez mais a veracidade daquilo que consum= imos enquanto informação, tanto na vida cotidiana quanto na pesquisa de investig= ação para produções científicas que serão utilizadas nas áreas em que atuamos. “O lema “publicar ou perecer” (“publish or perish”) resume bem as pressões crescentes por publicações no meio científico” (Suzigan; Garcia; Massaro, 2021) o que pode induzir a condutas que não estão alinhadas ao fazer pesquisa de qualidade.<= span style=3D'font-size:10.5pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif; color:#403D39;background:white'>

Nesse contexto, de forma geral, cabe ressaltar a importância de voltarmos às bases do fazer pesquisa para compreendermos o que é fundamental para a produção e socialização do conhecimento científico.

O primeiro passo para a produção de um bom artigo científico é a escolha de um tema relevante para a área de estudo e que apresente originalidade. É importante realizar uma pesquisa bibliográfica abrangente para verificar se o tema foi explorado por outros autores e quais as lacunas de conhecimento existentes. A escolha do = tema deve alinhar-se aos interesses do pesquisador e motivá-lo, mas também deve estar conectada às melhorias das condições de vida na sociedade, aplicação ética do conhecimento a ser produzido (Krieger, 2006). Além disso, a pesqui= sa científica deve ser guiada por um questionamento claro e objetivo, ou seja, formulamos uma pergunta de pesquisa que vai guiar nossa investigação e nosso delineamento metodológico. Com esse questionamento em mente, o pesquisador = deve declarar seu objetivo, ou objetivos, de pesquisa demonstrando o que pretende alcançar com seu estudo. A partir disso, o autor deve formular uma hipótese= de pesquisa que será testada ao longo do estudo. A hipótese nos ajuda a compreender quais resultados são esperados. A metodologia escolhida deve es= tar adequada para responder à pergunta de pesquisa e para que os dados coletados sejam confiáveis e válidos. Lembre-se de que seus objetivos devem ser capazes de = responder sua pergunta de pesquisa.

Os artigos científicos d= evem seguir uma estrutura padronizada, geralmente composta por introdução, revis= ão de literatura, metodologia, resultados, discussão e conclusão. Esta estrutu= ra varia conforme as regras das revistas ou dos locais que pretendemos publicar nosso estudo. De qualquer forma, cada seção deve ter um objetivo específico= e ser escrita de forma clara, concisa e objetiva. Cabe ressaltar que a qualid= ade metodológica da apresentação dos resultados que respondem aos objetivos do estudo assegura o rigor científico da pesquisa (Sampaio; Sabadini; Koller, 2013).

Por fim, mas de forma al= guma menos importante, os procedimentos metodológicos empíricos a serem aplicados devem seguir as prescrições éticas de pesquisa com seres humanos (Resolução= CNS nº. 466/2012 e Resolução nº 510/2016). O conceito de ética em pesquisa não = se reduz aos procedimentos propostos, mas a postura do pesquisador desde a definição de seu objeto de investigação até a publicação de seus resultados= (Minayo, 2021).

No que se refere à lingu= agem utilizada em artigos científicos ela deve ser formal, precisa e objetiva. É importante evitar o uso de linguagem coloquial, gírias e jargões que não se= jam compreendidos por um público internacional. Todas as fontes utilizadas no artigo científico devem ser citadas de forma correta, de acordo com a norma selecionada como, por exemplo, da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) ou da American Psychological Association (APA). A omissão ou o plágio de fontes configuram má conduta científica e podem levar à reprovação do artig= o e descrédito do pesquisador.

Antes de submeter o arti= go para avaliação, é fundamental realizar uma revisão cuidadosa do texto. Verifique se a gramática, a ortografia e a pontuação estão corretas, se a formatação está de acordo com as normas da revista e se o conteúdo está cla= ro, conciso e objetivo.

O processo de avaliação = por pares é fundamental para garantir a qualidade dos artigos científicos. Este= ja aberto a receber feedback dos revisores e faça as revisões necessári= as para melhorar o seu artigo.

Cada revista possui suas próprias diretrizes para formatação e submissão de artigos. Leia atentament= e as diretrizes da revista antes de enviar o seu manuscrito e siga todas as instruções rigorosamente. A publicação de um artigo científico pode ser um processo desafiador. Lembre-se que essa revisão ‘por pares’ também é um processo pedagógico e que, a cada nova submissão e revisão, nosso artigo se= torna mais qualificado. Seguindo estas boas práticas, você estará no caminho certo para produzir artigos científicos de alta qualidade que contribuirão para o avanço do conhecimento em sua área de estudo.
